Goals for 2012
  • We will sponsor debates of candidates for local political office.
  • We will attend Sanibel Council, Planning Commission, and other important meetings concerning local issues.
  • Local issues study groups will be formed as determined by the interests of members.

At the first meeting of the fully sanctioned League of Women Voters of Sanibel, the 80 strong member chapter elected its board of directors and adopted a set of by-laws and a strong "Nonpartisanship Policy Statement."
